Ear Piercing for children? Only from 4 years old at our studio!
At our studio, we do not offer ear piercing for babies or children under the age of 4. We believe that the decision to get earrings should be made by the child themself.
Why?
Informed consent – Every child should have the opportunity to decide for themself whether they want earrings or not.
Communication is key – Piercing requires cooperation, which is much easier when the child can sit still and communicate with us directly.
Safety and comfort – Older children better understand the process, making it less stressful for them.
Our piercers always prioritize maximum hygiene, safety and respect for the individual needs of each client. This is why we pierce ears only from the age of approximately 4, when a child understands what a piercing entails, can prepare for the procedure and knows the importance of proper aftercare.
We understand that our approach may not be liked by everyone. However, we reserve the right to refuse to perform a piercing if we feel it does not in line with our values. We firmly believe that piercing should be a conscious, safe, and voluntary decision.
Thank you for respecting our standpoint!
